M4 CALIPERS
Brembo GT kits are designed to combine the best solutions in order to correctly respond to the peculiarities of each vehicle. The heart of the kit are the aluminum calipers which in the monobloc version, then machined from a cast aluminum blank, guarantee exceptional rigidity and less deformation. The use of fixed calipers with radial attachments and larger discs gives the brakes greater braking torque and thermal capacity. The result is a quicker and more decisive braking, already perceptible in normal conditions of road use, but also constant in simple sections on the track.The fixed calipers improve the duration and efficiency of the system: in fact, thanks to the use of multiple opposing pistons , allow a better distributed action on the pads and a more uniform wear of the friction surfaces.
PERFORATED DISCS
The discs supplied in the kit are equipped with an exclusive ventilation system that improves the cooling capacity and increases the resistance to cracks caused by thermal shocks by more than 40%. Furthermore, the discs can be floating or integral depending on the car model. The kit is completed by a set of high performance pads, DOT approved metal braided hoses, adapter and high quality fastening hardware.
BRAIDED TUBES
The high stiffness of the calipers and the use of metal braided hoses ensure the reduction of brake fluid absorption resulting in a more responsive and stable brake pedal pressure value, improving modulation and pedal feeling. Finally, the system with increased floating disc, thanks to the aluminum alloy bell, reduces the unsprung masses (for better handling) and the stress caused by heat. The fixing system is designed to allow a margin of float both in the radial and in the axial direction.
This peculiarity, combined with a greater size of the braking track, allows the heat generated by the repeated and intense thermal stresses to which the discs are subjected to be better dispersed, maintaining braking and pedal feeling performance unchanged even after numerous laps on the track.
